Preparation

  • Activate Pre-Cleaner: The Pre-cleaner contains an eco-friendly tablet inside the bottle. Fill the bottle with warm water to activate the tablet, let it sit for 30 seconds, then shake. The Pre-cleaner is now ready to use.
  • Safety: Wear gloves and ensure the area is well-ventilated. Do not store in direct sunlight. Store in its sealed container with the triggers switched off and keep away from children. In case of eye contact, rinse immediately with water. Do not swallow or inhale. Seek medical advice if necessary.

Step 1: Preparing the Glass

  1. Ensure the glass is as clean as possible from any stains or mineral buildup.
  2. Clean the glass with the pre-cleaner solution.
  3. Dry the glass thoroughly, ensuring it's free of any residue.

Step 2: Applying the Nanocoat

  1. Divide the glass into 1 square meter or 3 square feet sections.
  2. Spray the Nanocoat (3-4 sprays per section).
  3. Using a dry microfibre cloth, spread the Nanocoat in circular motions until dry (up to 1 minute).
  4. Treat the next section and repeat until the entire area is covered.

Step 3: Post-Application

  1. After 5-10 minutes, use a damp cloth to polish the glass and remove any 'grit', residue, or swirling marks.
  2. Follow up with a dry cloth to remove any remaining wet grit/residue.
  3. Repeat this process as needed until the glass is clear and clean.
  4. Allow at least 24 hours for the Nanocoat to completely dry, avoiding any contact with water during this time.

How to Use

Step 1: Preparing Your Glass Surface

Make sure the area is well ventilated before use. We encourage you to wear a mask, gloves and goggles while applying the nanocoat.

Ensure that the surface is clean and dry before application, including removing any stains, mould or mineral build up.

Step 2: Nanocoat Application

Treat 1-3m2 at a time and spray the nanocoat over the surface until it is evenly and completely covered. You should only require 2-3 sprays for this area.

Wipe over the sprayed area using the supplied microfibre cloth, being sure to
spread the product evenly over the entire surface. 

Continue to work the product into the surface in a circular motion until it is
completely dry. This may take up to 30 seconds.

Step 3: Success!

For optimal effect, keep the area dry for the next 12-24 hours, while the product
sets. This will ensure you get your full 3+ year protection.

Our GLASSGUARD Glass Nanocoat Kit is suitable for most glass showers, as it comes with a special GLASSGUARD Glass Pre-Cleaner that you use before applying the nanocoat layer to your glass, to protect it and to make cleaning it a breeze. However, for older or very stained/decayed glass, we recommend using our GLASSGUARD Glass Restoration Stain Remover Diamond Edition.

Each kit comes with 125ml of our special nanocoat liquid. This should be enough to coat approximately 8 metres squared, or two full glass showers. If you need more nanocoat you can select a larger volume below the product price. 

No problem! Simply use some plain dishwashing liquid to remove the nanocoat before it sets. The process itself is very simple and if you do apply it incorrectly and the product sets, it is so thin that you can just apply it again.
