STEP 1: PREPARING THE BATH/TOILET
(Toilet) Turn off the water and flush to remove as much water as possible from the bowl. Locate the valve behind or near the toilet on the wall and turn it clockwise until it is tight. If not possible, turn off the water supply at the mains. If neither is possible, fill a bucket with water and empty it quickly into the toilet to lower the water level. Repeat if necessary. Ensure that the bath/toilet is clean. If there are stains or mineral build-up, use a hard water stain remover like our Glass Restoration Stain Remover. Once the bath/toilet is cleaned, dry it and ensure no residue remains that might interfere with the nanocoat treatment.
STEP 2: APPLYING THE NANOCOAT
Spray the nanocoat across the bath or toilet bowl. For a bath, split it into sections and treat one section at a time. Use 2-3 sprays for the toilet bowl and around 10 sprays for the entire bath. Spread the nanocoat around with a dry microfiber cloth in circular motions until it is completely dry, which may take up to 1 minute. (Bath) Once dry, treat the next section of the bath. Repeat until the entire area is treated.
STEP 3: POST-APPLICATION
If you notice "grit," "residue," or "swirly marks" on the bath, it is just excess nanocoat. After about 5-10 minutes, use a damp cloth to polish the bath and remove all grit/residue. Then, using a dry cloth, wipe all the wet grit/residue off the bath. You may need to repeat this process, but once complete, you should have a clean bath with the nanocoat applied. (Bath) Allow at least 24 hours for the nanocoat to completely dry and avoid wetting the bath during this time. (Toilet) Allow at least 1-2 hours for the toilet to dry
IN CASE OF FAILED APPLICATION
If you have applied the nanocoat incorrectly and see "grit," "residue," or "swirly marks," use a strong alcohol-based cleaner or methylated spirits (found at most hardware stores or supermarkets) to remove the nanocoat. Then, reapply the nanocoat following the instructions carefully.
